MEET OUR FAMILY
Tom Harrington is a Florida native. Originally from Lake County in Central Florida he has lived in the Tallahassee/Wakulla County area since 1980. Tom holds a BS in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University. Following completion of his graduate studies, he worked as a Policy Analyst for the Florida Legislature. Tom began his rental property business in 1991 buying houses and renovating them for student living. Tom is married to Tammie Barfield, and they have a son, Shea.
Tammie Barfield moved to Florida with her family in 1973 from South Georgia. She has lived and worked in the Tallahassee/Wakulla County area since 1991. Tammie holds a BA in English, Creative Writing, from The Florida State University. She has worked primarily in marketing in a variety of fields from advertising to real estate. She was formerly the sole proprietor of Executive Center Services, an administrative services business in Tallahassee. She served as general manager of The Wakulla News in Crawfordville. She was also part owner of Bay Leaf Market in Crawfordville.
Her focus now is managing the properties with Tom.
Shea Harrington was born in Tallahassee, Florida and has lived in the Tallahassee/Wakulla County area for the past 23 years. He is currently living in Tallahassee and holds a Master's in Finance from The Florida State University. Shea works as an Investment Analyst in Strategic Investments at the State Board of Administration of Florida. Shea has helped us out with account management and minor property maintenance over the years. Shea enjoys serving as a fishing consultant for fresh and saltwater fishing, with particular interest in fly fishing.

If you're looking for a place in Tallahassee, I highly recommend Tom Harrington. I wish I would have found him as soon as I moved here. Not only are his prices lower than other nearby places, his houses are better. I've had the personal pleasure of living in two of his houses over the years, and both were much nicer than the places I've lived in before.
Tom is a great landlord. He always ensures that any repairs are done quickly, and he is incredibly nice and friendly. I truly believe that he genuinely cares about his tenants and have noticed on many occasions that he goes above and beyond with making sure everything is well. You can't go wrong with Tom!
